Finding a resort where the whole family could relax was our biggest task for this Phu Quoc trip.

When traveling with kids, the environment matters even more than rest.
After comparing many places, we chose Novotel Phu Quoc Resort.
To cut to the chase: we chose really well.
It’s just over 10 minutes from the airport, and the moment we arrived, the resort view and sea breeze kicked off our family trip perfectly.
Novotel Phu Quoc Resort at a Glance
Novotel Phu Quoc is known as one of the best resorts for families.
With a free airport shuttle (advance booking required), a kids club, spacious rooms and infinity pools, it has everything you need.
Key points:
- Location: 10 to 15 minutes from the airport
- Rooms: from standard rooms to ocean-view villas
- Facilities: two infinity pools, a kids’ pool, spa, private beach, fitness center and kids club
- Nearby: Sonasea Night Market across from the resort for shopping and massages
What I loved most was the open feel, with the sea visible from almost everywhere in the resort.
On morning walks with our child the sea breeze was gentle, and in the evening the sunset dropped between the palm trees.
Infinity Pool Review: Where Phu Quoc’s Sunsets Linger

The highlight of Novotel Phu Quoc is the ocean-view infinity pool.
Of the two main pools, the beachside infinity pool is stunning at sunset.
- Hours: until 9 p.m. (the night lighting makes it extra atmospheric)
- Kids’ pool: a separate pool next to the adult pool for safe play

- Sunset point: the sky seen from the infinity pool at dusk was the climax of our Phu Quoc trip

Sunbeds and towel service near the poolside bar meant the adults could relax too.

As the sky reflected in the pool slowly turned orange at sunset, that moment, with our child’s laughter, became the highlight of the trip.
Breakfast Review: Vietnamese and International Buffet

You’ll never be disappointed by the breakfast that starts your day here.
Breakfast at Novotel Phu Quoc was, in a word, a breakfast for everyone.
- Hours: 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

- Local dishes: Vietnamese pho, fried rice noodles and fresh tropical fruit
- Western dishes: an omelet station, bakery, cheese, salads and hot dishes
- Kids’ corner: cereal, pancakes, egg dishes and high chairs
The bowl of pho cooked fresh every morning washed away our travel fatigue,
and the tropical fruit and fresh juice were perfect too.
No wonder it’s known for having one of the tastiest breakfasts in Phu Quoc.
Room Review: Spacious and Clean for Families

We stayed in a Superior Ocean View room.
Even as a standard category, it was spacious and never felt cramped, and the sea view from the balcony was like a painting.

- Cleanliness: daily housekeeping and fresh bedding
- Noise: good soundproofing for a sound sleep
- Family-friendly: baby cots on request and plenty of space to move around

There was room to spare even with our child’s toys spread out.
The bathroom had a separate tub and shower, which made bathing our child easy.
The rooms at Novotel Phu Quoc show what a kid-friendly resort should be.
Novotel counts children as 15 and under, so kids up to middle school age can stay without extra charges, which we loved.
Facilities and Surroundings: Enough Fun for a Whole Day

Novotel Phu Quoc isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a resort with plenty to enjoy all day.

- Kids club: children’s programs and play equipment (our child’s favorite!)
- Spa and fitness: healing time for adults
- Beach walkway: a private beach right in front of the resort

- Night market access: Sonasea Phu Quoc Night Market, 5 minutes on foot

In the evening we ended the day with mango smoothies and massages at the night market,
and the resort’s location made getting there easy.
“If we go back to Phu Quoc, it’ll be Novotel again.”

It was a trip the whole family loved.
Novotel Phu Quoc Resort balances comfort, service and facilities perfectly. The near-five-star facilities come at a reasonable price, and with a kids club, kids’ pool and spacious rooms, it’s so family-friendly that we’d happily stay again on our next Phu Quoc trip.
