Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc With Kids: Giraffe Feeding, Shuttle and Ticket Tips

Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc

Planning a trip to Phu Quoc? Here’s one of its top attractions, Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc.

Safari entrance

It’s a must on any family trip to Phu Quoc, an animal theme park that kids and adults both love.

Based on our family’s own visit, I’ve put together shuttle, ticket and early-arrival tips.

It was the place our child said they remembered most from Phu Quoc, so I really wanted to share it.

Why You Should Enter Vinpearl Safari at 9 a.m.

Vinpearl Safari has large outdoor areas,

so arriving right at the 9 a.m. opening is essential to avoid Phu Quoc’s strong sun.

  • Cooler sightseeing: the morning sun is gentler, so walking around is more comfortable.
  • Active animals: before the heat, the animals are lively.
  • Minimal waits: in the morning you can enjoy the popular giraffe feeding without a line.

We arrived around 8:50 and entered as soon as it opened,

so we got on the tram right away and fed the giraffes at our leisure.

Why Vinpearl Safari Is Phu Quoc’s Top Family Attraction

At Vinpearl Safari, the animals live in environments close to nature.

The facilities are clean, and the animals looked healthy.

If you spend one day of your Phu Quoc trip here, you won’t regret it.

Three Vinpearl Safari experiences you shouldn’t miss

Giraffe feeding

Kids feeding giraffes

1. Giraffe feeding

This is the signature experience at Vinpearl Safari.

When kids hand food to a giraffe themselves, everyone cheers.

Watching a giraffe stretch its long neck to eat from your palm is adorable.

You can buy feed at the booth on site.

2. Giraffe Restaurant

Right next to the giraffe feeding area,

the restaurant lets you feed giraffes from the window seats while you eat.

It was the most special lunch of our Phu Quoc family trip.

It’s popular, so I recommend arriving around 11 a.m., before the lunch rush.

3. Elephant feeding

Watching an elephant stretch out its trunk to take food is a top memory for kids.

They come close enough to touch, so it’s great for photos,

and it’s one of the signature experiences at Vinpearl Safari.

Ride the Tram to Stay Cool

Among Phu Quoc attractions, Vinpearl Safari is huge.

Walking it all can be tiring, but free loop trams run all day.

Tram

The tram stops at major points such as the Giraffe Restaurant, the elephant zone and the bird zone,

so families with kids can get around easily.

It was efficient, especially for escaping the midday sun.

VinBus Shuttle Tips

VinBus
Shuttle stop

Vinpearl Safari is in the north of the island,

about 30 to 40 minutes from Duong Dong town.

Don’t worry, though: as of 2025, a free shuttle called VinBus runs there.

  • Who can ride: not only Vinpearl resort guests but any traveler
  • Route: Duong Dong, Grand World and Vinpearl Safari
  • Caution: some buses only go as far as Grand World,

so you may need to take a golf cart from there to the safari.

  • Timetable: check the latest information on the official Vinpearl app or website before you go.

Tip: if you’re staying at a resort, the front desk can help book the shuttle,

so be sure to ask in advance.

Family at the safari

The kids laughed all day, and the adults could take it slow on the cool trams,

so the day flew by.

I recommend setting aside one day of your Phu Quoc trip for this place.

“The number one attraction in Phu Quoc!

A day that made both kids and adults happy.”

Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc isn’t just a zoo;

it’s a hands-on place where families laugh and make memories together.

If you’re planning a family trip to Phu Quoc, be sure to add it to your itinerary.

Prices, hours and details in this post are from our visit in October 2025 and may have changed, so check the latest information before you go.
