Planning a trip to Nha Trang, Vietnam?
Here are my Nha Trang massage tips and an honest review of Spa Lux, one of the city’s most popular spas.

Here are some useful tips before getting a massage in Nha Trang.
1. Price: Nha Trang massage prices vary by shop, so check in advance. Look for somewhere affordable and clean.
2. Location: check whether you can walk from your hotel or how much a taxi costs.
3. Booking: popular spas can be hard to book on the day, so reserve ahead.
4. Discounts: look for online booking deals or referral discounts.
5. Korean-speaking staff: choosing a spa with Korean-speaking staff makes communication easy.
2. Spa Lux Location and Facilities
Spa Lux is in central Nha Trang, so it’s very easy to reach.
The spa occupies a whole building, and the warm lighting and gentle aroma inside start the healing the moment you walk in.
The facilities are spotless and well kept. Compared with other Nha Trang massage shops, the facilities felt far better.
Prices (as of 2025)
- Special Lux massage, 90 minutes: about 740,000 dong (about 37,000 won)
- Aroma massage, 90 minutes: about 680,000 dong (about 34,000 won)
- Dry massage, 90 minutes: about 740,000 dong (about 37,000 won)
- Kids’ massage, 90 minutes: about 640,000 dong (about 32,000 won)
With a discount, a 90-minute aroma massage cost me about 23,000 won. I was amazed at the quality for the price.
3. Pickup Service
- Book 90 minutes for two or more people: free one-way pickup within Nha Trang city
- Book 90 minutes for four or more people: free round-trip pickup within Nha Trang city
The pickup service saved us the hassle of getting from the hotel to the spa.
4. Services and Programs
Spa Lux offers a range of massage programs.
- Aroma massage: a relaxing full-body massage with fragrant oils
- Hot stone massage: muscle relaxation using heated stones
- Dry Thai massage: a firm massage of pressure and stretching without oil
- Sunburn care massage: special care to soothe sunburned skin
- Kids’ massage: a gentle massage for children 11 and under
- Pregnancy massage: a safe massage for expectant mothers
I chose the 90-minute Special Lux course and my husband chose the dry Thai massage. The skilled technique worked out every knot.
We were especially happy that our child could join us for a kids’ massage.
5. Our Family’s Experience
We all had 90-minute massages, and with the kids’ massage our whole family got to relax together.
The therapists were very professional, and Korean-speaking staff made communication easy.
The scent of aroma oil, calming music and expert hands came together to melt away our travel fatigue.
It became one of the most memorable experiences of our Nha Trang trip.
A Nha Trang massage tip of about 20,000 to 40,000 dong per hour seems right. If tipping in dollars, I give 1 to 2 dollars.

7. A Restaurant Near Spa Lux
You’ll be hungry after a massage, and right next door is a Thai-style restaurant called Nom Nom.
It’s clean and air-conditioned,
and the food is cheap and tasty.
There’s a wide menu,
and the flying noodles seem to be the signature dish.
They also serve Vietnamese dishes like banh xeo.
We ate a lot, but the bill was still small.
Be sure to stop by after your massage at Spa Lux.
8. Bonus Tip: A Pharmacy Next Door
There’s also a Vietnamese pharmacy right next to Spa Lux.
You can buy popular Vietnamese medicines at good prices.
