Traveling to Jeju with a 16-Month-Old Baby / Camellia Hill / Winter Flower Viewing / Day 2

I have finally started recording my trip to Jeju Island.

This was Jeju Island, where I went during the Lunar New Year holiday in late January to early February, and now I’m posting the records of the second day.

I had the best hairtail at Chunsim’s and visited Camellia Hill nearby.

Although I have been to Jeju Island many times, this is my first time visiting Camellia Hill.

It was my first time.

Camellia Hill is famous for being a filming location for the drama “My Love from the Star,” which has made it a major tourist attraction in Jeju.

It seems that many people do self-wedding photos here.

There are many pretty places to take selfies everywhere.

Although the weather was cold, the camellias that bloom in winter make it feel like spring despite being winter.

I expected to see beautiful camellias in full bloom, but it seems they weren’t well maintained, which was a bit disappointing.

However, it seems that there’s no place better than here to see camellias.

Inside, there is a traditional Jeju house.

We took pictures in front of it happily with my parents-in-law.

The photo I took with the green grass and red flowers under the blue sky turned out quite pretty.

Yani didn’t get to see much of the flowers and fell asleep in her mom’s arms.

She woke up later.

Yani, who couldn’t see many flowers,

has seen the flowers well only with her mom and dad and grandma and grandpa.

If you follow the path, there is a small greenhouse.

Inside, there were various flowers besides the camellias.

I didn’t particularly like camellias, but

I started to like them while looking at camellias.

The language of camellias is waiting, noble love, and passionate love.

The camellia blooms in the cold winter while others can’t bloom in spring, summer, and fall, waiting for me.

Therefore, among the bare branches, the red camellias seem to stand out more.

The course at Camellia Hill takes about 1 to 2 hours.

It’s nice because it’s a level path without any uphill sections.

Walking along this flat trail was enjoyable.

Personally, it felt similar to the Jade Garden in Gapyeong.
