Traveling Together: The Beautiful Hyeonchungsa in All Four Seasons, Perfect for Visiting with Kids

When I first planned a trip that I know

I had the ambition to introduce the good attractions in Cheonan Asan where I live.

Let’s take many beautiful pictures while visiting good places in Cheonan Asan every weekend!

However, the reality is..

While Yans is sick and I am sick and being tormented by parenting and work

When the weekend comes, the place I go is the hospital

But I hadn’t forgotten.

If I can’t go, I can just send my husband and Yans!

The third destination of the known travel is

“Hyeonchungsa” it will be

It is a place I often went with my husband during our dating time

This place also holds memories of us as a couple

Hyeonchungsa is a shrine commemorating Admiral Yi Sunsin

It is also a place that celebrates Admiral Yi Sunsin

Hmm? Isn’t Yi Sunsin from Tongyeong, where the turtle ship and the park are?

Tongyeong is where Admiral Yi Sun-shin made his achievements

Hyeonchungsa is a place that houses the portrait of Admiral Yi Sunsin

I didn’t know either, but I discovered it thanks to my husband

Many people visit Hyeonchungsa in spring and autumn

Because there are many green trees and wide grass

It is also good for taking pictures

It is good for children to run and play.

Once, this place was a site for training martial arts during the Joseon Dynasty and it also has an archery range.

During the Japanese occupation, the tomb of Admiral Yi Sunsin almost fell into the hands of Japanese auction.

Here is a place where my grandfather and Yans took a photo

Jeongnyeo

When the king gives a plaque to loyal subjects, filial sons, and virtuous women, it is hung at the entrance of the village they lived in

The Jeongnyeo at Hyeonchungsa has five plaques for loyal subjects, filial sons, and general Yi Sun-sin and his descendants.

This place is known as Jeongnyeo

People say that the entrance to Jeongnyeo is a place where the king’s plaque would be hung for loyal subjects, filial sons, and virtuous women

This is a site where my grandfather and Yans took a picture
