Hilton Saigon Lunch: 39th-Floor Chinese Set Menu with a City View

Hilton Saigon lunch: Hilton Saigon 39th-floor Chinese restaurant

Looking for one special meal in Ho Chi Minh City? We had a Hilton Saigon lunch with our child at the Chinese restaurant on the hotel’s 39th floor. Here’s our review of the weekday set lunch, with a sweeping city view and a refined Chinese course menu.

Hilton Saigon Lunch Above the City

Ho Chi Minh City skyline from the 39th floor

Street food is great in Ho Chi Minh City, but traveling with kids, sometimes you want a quiet, comfortable place with proper service.

Air-conditioned dining room with a view

Escaping the heat for a cool hotel lunch with a view is a great way to recharge mid-trip.

Elevator lobby on the 39th floor

The restaurant sits on the 39th floor of the Hilton Saigon. Anticipation built as the elevator climbed, and the panoramic view of the city when the doors opened was stunning.

Atmosphere and Service: Comfortable with Kids

Traveling with kids, you often worry whether a place is too formal or crowded. Despite the upscale atmosphere, the staff here were attentive to our child.

Sofa seating by the windows

Wide round tables and comfy sofa seats kept our child settled, and the miniature-like cityscape through the floor-to-ceiling windows kept boredom away.

Soup

There were two soup options, and we chose the nourishing one.

You can choose your main course too.

Dessert is light and clean.

  • Seasonal fresh fruit, sweet and neatly cut.

Tips for Your Visit

  • Book a window seat: to enjoy the 39th-floor view, reserve a window table in advance.
Saigon River view

The view of downtown and the Saigon River makes the meal taste twice as good.

  • With kids: the garlic prawns and fried rice are the safest combo.
Kid-friendly dishes

The seasoning is mild, so it’s easy for kids to eat.

Dim sum option
  • Dim sum: on weekdays there’s also a dim sum set lunch if you want something lighter.

For a proper course meal, though, we highly recommend the set lunch we had.
