I’m introducing a place in the middle of Cheonan where, without staying overnight,

you can enjoy both glamping vibes and charcoal BBQ:
Sutsut Cheonan.
It’s perfect for anyone who wants to camp but finds the prep a hassle,
or who wants to enjoy a day of nature with their kids.
Sutsut Cheonan: Day Glamping Vibes in the City

* Location: 107 Yuryang-ro, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do
* Hours: 17:00–23:00 (open daily, reservation required), phone 1811-8530
It’s just 10 minutes from downtown Cheonan, but the air changes the moment you step inside.

A lawn lined with private tents and charcoal glowing under soft lights:

calling it a camping ground in the city is no exaggeration.

Especially at dusk, when the sky turns red and the glow mixes with the smell of grilling meat,
you feel, “This is real healing in the city.”
A Private, Reservation-Only Space

Sutsut Cheonan runs 100% on reservations.
Book a time slot and you get a tent to yourself for three hours.
Every spot has its own tent, so it’s especially popular with families and couples.

The tents are clean and roomy inside,
so you really get the feel of day glamping.
A Self-Service Market: Come Without Any Prep

The real charm here is that you can enjoy camping without preparing anything.
Sutsut’s self-service market is set up like a small camping store,
stocked with meat, drinks, ramen, instant rice, lettuce wraps, ice cream and even toys.

At the butcher corner, you can pick pork belly, neck and skirt by the 100 grams,
and the meat was fresh, grilling up savory with no gamey smell.
Prices are a bit higher than a regular butcher,
but given the atmosphere and convenience, they’re reasonable.
Real Charcoal: The Finishing Touch of Smoky Flavor

True to its name, charcoal is the heart of Sutsut Cheonan.
Staff set up blazing charcoal next to your table
and top it up whenever needed, so you can grill slowly without worrying about heat.

Thanks to the charcoal, the meat cooked crisp outside and juicy inside,
with real smoky flavor.
The skirt meat and pork belly especially combined aroma and juices perfectly,
tasting even better than at a campsite.
A Great Cheonan Family Outing With Kids

There’s a reason Sutsut Cheonan is loved by families.
It’s the space designed for kids.
A sand play area, slides and a play kitchen
give kids a safe place to play,
so parents enjoy the barbecue while kids run free.

We even saw families with dogs on the lawn,
and the family-friendly atmosphere was impressive.
(Check pet policies before booking!)
At Night, Sutsut Shows Another Side
By day it’s full of families’ laughter,
but when the sun sets and the lights come on, Sutsut becomes a completely different space.
Soft light from each tent and the glowing fire,
music in the distance and the smell of grilling meat
make it feel like a little camping festival in the middle of the city.
Kids rest under cozy blankets after playing,
while adults slowly sip wine and talk;
in that moment, it becomes a warmer memory than a faraway trip.
Best of all is toasting marshmallows over the fire pit.
Sutsut Cheonan brings together camping romance, restaurant convenience and family warmth.
I never thought a day with no prep could be so perfect;
it’s the answer for day glamping in the city.
If you have no special plans for the weekend,
grill some meat slowly under Sutsut’s lights with your kids.
That time itself becomes a trip.
