Ana Mandara Cam Ranh Review: A Private Pool Villa for Families in Nha Trang

I’d like to share a special family trip to Nha Trang, Vietnam.

Choosing where to go abroad with kids is never easy, and we struggled too, until we found Ana Mandara Cam Ranh.

Here’s my honest review of two nights in a private pool villa.

Ana Mandara Cam Ranh

With its beautiful beaches and relatively quiet atmosphere, Nha Trang has been drawing more and more family travelers.

Private pool villas in particular offer families with kids both relaxation and privacy.

We stayed in a private pool villa at Ana Mandara Cam Ranh, near Cam Ranh Airport, and I want to share how it works as a family pool villa.

Every moment from check-in to check-out was satisfying, and I highly recommend it for families traveling with kids.

Ana Mandara Cam Ranh Overview and Location

  • Location: about 15 minutes by car from Cam Ranh International Airport
  • Accommodation: standard rooms and private pool villas
  • Surroundings: a quiet beachfront setting, natural and peaceful
  • Guests: mainly couples and families
  • Airport pickup can be booked in advance
  • A shuttle bus to Nha Trang city can also be booked in advance

It’s easy to reach from the airport with a simple transfer.

Being so close to the airport made getting there easy with a child, and check-in went smoothly.

Once checked in, you can relax without going anywhere else, which is a big plus.

The area is quiet and close to the sea,

with a true resort feel.

It’s far from the city, but the privacy is unbeatable.

2-Bedroom Premium Sky View Pool Villa Review

We chose a 2-Bedroom Premium Sky View Pool Villa,

with generous space and a fully private pool as its highlights.

Room layout

  • Two bedrooms (twin and king), a living room, two bathrooms and a private pool

On the top floor, the Sky View Pool Villa offers open views and plenty of space. The bedrooms and living room are fully separated, so everyone gets privacy while still having space to spend time together.

There are also garden pool villas, which are so photogenic they feel like a dream resort.

I’d love to stay in one of those next time.

Private and Shared Pools

Every pool villa has its own pool,

and our Sky View Pool Villa was on the top floor.

Private pool features

  • About 1.2 meters deep, suitable for children
  • Regular cleaning and water quality management
  • Complete privacy
  • Safe design with non-slip flooring

The biggest advantage was spending family time without other guests around. The safe environment let my child play freely in the water, so we could relax as parents too.

Shared Pool Facilities

The resort has a separate main pool and kids’ pool.

There are plenty of sun loungers to relax on, and with the beach right in front, my child played in the sand too.

Dining Options

Ana Mandara Cam Ranh offers a variety of dining options,

in your villa or at the restaurants.

The setup is clearly designed with families in mind.

The breakfast buffet impressed not only with variety but also with temperature, taste and cleanliness.

The menu changed a little each morning,

and the staff were very kind, helping my father, who has limited mobility, which made us feel at ease.

Hot Pot Gala Dinner

The reservation-only hot pot dinner, a Vietnamese shabu-shabu,

is a great dinner option for families.

  • Reservations required, evenings only
  • Vietnamese shabu-shabu cooked at your own table
  • Seafood, beef and vegetables with a spicy broth
  • Clean, neat presentation

It was a relaxed, satisfying dinner,

and my child could choose ingredients to suit their taste.

There were also rice noodles and ramen, and the broth reminded us of Korean spicy fish stew, so it suited us perfectly.

Floating Breakfast

Available on request, the floating breakfast

is served on a rattan tray floating in your pool,

and it’s stunning both to look at and to experience.

Overall, Ana Mandara Cam Ranh felt like it has a well-organized, family-focused system.

Good to know

  • There are no shops or convenience stores in or near the resort, so buy water and snacks before check-in.
  • Airport pickup and drop-off must be requested in advance, and booking your schedule and meals at check-in makes everything easier.

making them ideal for families.

Rooms, dining, pools and service were all well managed,
