Not long ago, I traveled to Nha Trang, Vietnam with my parents-in-law and Yans.
Now that I’m back from the trip and full of good memories, I think I will write a review one by one from now on.
The travel agency I used was a local Vietnamese travel agency called
“Nha Trang Doctor” and it was arranged through them~
They were the travel agency that took care of everything from booking accommodation to Nha Trang immigration and getting home~
Now, I will share my travel story to Nha Trang through Yansworld!
In the late evening, we took the Jeju Air flight at 10:25 PM and departed from Incheon Airport.
Most Vietnam trips tend to be night flights~
This night flight was delayed until 11 PM, which was really exhausting..
Yans also fell asleep while looking at the night view from the plane~
It takes about 5 hours to fly to Nha Trang.
We were delayed, so it took us about 6 hours~
We arrived in Nha Trang after 3 AM (which was almost 5 AM in Korean time).
I was really exhausted~ I wanted to sleep quickly at the hotel.
You know, right? Now the terrifying Southeast Asian immigration and customs inspections remain!
I ran quickly for the immigration check, but
even after 3 AM, there was still a long line for immigration.. Is this real?
The line is enormous~ I can’t see the end~
If you wait, you’ll wait in line for over an hour
Fortunately, I knew this information in advance through Nha Trang Doctor and applied for fast track~
The fast track method for Nha Trang is simple
I applied for the fast track and airport pick-up in advance with Nha Trang Doctor and sent my flight details and passport for pre-immigration check.
So, regarding the immigration waiting line,
There was a person holding a sign for Nha Trang Doctor waiting for us.
So we proceeded with the fast track through that person!
You see? There is one person in front of us~
And they just looked at our passport
They stamped our passport and we were out right away~
It took less than a minute to get out~
What was unique about entering Vietnam was that it seems like they don’t fill out any documents upon entry and just ask during immigration + thus the line was longer.
Even after going outside, there was still a long line~~
It must have been really tough if the line was that long, even with late entry~
This is a complete tip for entering Cam Ranh Airport from Nha Trang ^^
Quickly after the immigration check,
I found my luggage.
After retrieving my luggage, I proceed to customs inspection.
The customs inspection in Nha Trang is really meticulous and detail-oriented, so it takes a bit of time
It tends to take a while.
When going through customs, you need to pay attention to
everything you brought on the plane will be checked,
if it’s over $400, you will be charged duty + money.
You need to be careful not to get caught!
Please be careful not to exceed $400 in duty-free purchases 🥺
After the customs inspection is over, the driver of the airport pick-up vehicle that I pre-booked with Nha Trang Doctor
was holding up my name and standing there
It was really nice to see them.
I was worried that we might miss each other since I arrived late, but there was no need to worry ^^
The driver moved the big luggage for us
and we traveled by car.
I was glad to see the large, modern Solati here.
Now, it is a 40-minute distance from Cam Ranh Airport to downtown Nha Trang.
Most trips to Nha Trang are night flights, but using fast track + airport pick-up makes it more convenient and not tiring,
so I highly recommend it.
+ These days, I heard that the line for Korean arrival in Nha Trang is enormous, so even late at night, the line is long. Please try to use the fast track that ends in less than a minute.
