Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Jungfrau, Grindelwald.

We arrived in Switzerland in the evening. I always seem to arrive in Switzerland late at night. As always, Interlaken, Switzerland at dawn. In Switzerland, seeing Jungfrau is obviously the goal. Ten years ago I was too lazy and skipped it to have snowball fights with hostel friends, but with my mom I had to go, so we bustled to the train from dawn.

We take the train to Jungfrau. The weather was unusually clear that day. But they say it’s always cloudy at Jungfrau, so I hoped the weather would hold.

We got tickets at the counter.

We waited at the station and boarded the Jungfrau mountain train.

Climbing Jungfrau, the first transfer village is Lauterbrunnen.

The Staubbach Falls dropping beautifully is stunning.

A healing place with crisp air free of fine dust. Jungfrau. Climbing on, you arrive at Jungfrau. The Ice Palace and Sphinx Terrace photos all came out poorly, so I can’t share them.

I seem to have altitude sickness. Ten years ago I felt nauseous and dizzy in Interlaken, and with my mom I felt nauseous and dizzy again. Lucky us at Jungfrau, clear only 2 days out of 30. We even saw a rainbow.

Mom’s life shot.

The 9,000-won cup ramen here tasted the best. And Grindelwald, met on the descending train.

Switzerland is a place worth revisiting. Ten years ago too, Switzerland was unforgettable.
