We had debated between a natural recreation forest and Bijarim, but chose Saryeoni Forest instead. It has a similar feel and it’s free.

The evening of our second day was a bit chilly, so I quickly changed into warm layers. Passing by, we saw the lush cedar road and knew we were there. We entered Saryeoni Forest through the Red Oreum entrance.
The path was beautifully maintained with what looked like straw mats.

The cedar trees stretched tall and lush overhead. Breathing in, my nose felt clear, as if filled with the good scent of the forest. My husband told me to breathe deeply so the good energy would reach the baby, so I kept taking big breaths as we walked the forest trail.

A proof shot at Saryeoni Forest. I wanted to look pretty, but as a visibly pregnant woman, I looked chubby no matter the angle.

I wonder what plant this is?

This is a long panorama of Saryeoni Forest taken by my husband. It’s completely beautiful.
In front of Saryeoni Forest there are many food trucks, so if you’re not full, it’s worth trying one.
Prices, hours and details in this post are from our visit in May 2017 and may have changed, so check the latest information before you go.
