Taking elementary kids to the Jeju Aerospace Museum? Arrive by 9:20 a.m. to sign up for a free guided tour, see the Aviation History Hall and the Astronomy and Space Hall, then pick just one theme hall for about three hours. Adding every film and activity tires kids out before it strains the budget.
Jeju Aerospace Museum Basics

The museum is at 83 Hanggonguju-ro, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo. It has the Aviation History Hall on the first floor, the Astronomy and Space Hall and theme halls on the second, a toddler area and an outdoor aircraft display.
It’s open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with last entry at 5 p.m. It closes on the third Monday of each month; if that Monday is a public holiday, it closes the next weekday.
Tickets and Parking
Individual tickets are 10,000 won for adults, 9,000 won for teens, and 8,000 won for children aged 3–12 and seniors 65+. Infants under 36 months are free.
Jeju residents, multi-child families and people with disabilities can get discounts with proof. Parking is free, and the outdoor aircraft display and observatory are free too.
Basic admission for two adults and one elementary kid is 28,000 won.

Who It Suits
It suits kids who love planes, space and science or hands-on exhibits. It’s a good backup in west Jeju when rain or wind cancels beach plans.

Kids sensitive to dark rooms, loud sounds or motion seats should skip extra theme halls and stick to the main exhibits.

Suggested 3-Hour Route

Suggested route: arrive at 9:15 a.m., sign up at the information desk for the 9:30 tour, visit the Aviation History Hall, try the flight-principle activities, see the Astronomy and Space Hall, take a break, pick one theme hall, visit the outdoor aircraft or observatory, and have lunch at 12:30.

The official one-hour course links aviation history, aviation technology, astronomy, space exploration and the solar system. With kids, add tours, activities and breaks for 2.5 to 3.5 hours.
Free Guided Tours

Korean-language tours run at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 and 4:30 p.m.
Sign up at the first-floor information desk up to five minutes before; each tour takes up to 30 people and may change.
Instead of long explanations, give kids questions like “Find the fastest-looking plane” or “How do astronauts eat and sleep on a space station?”
Pick One or Two Theme Halls

The Polaris 5D theater, Canopus dome theater and Procyon interactive wall are 2,000 won each, and the Arius adventure ride is 4,000 won.
Theme halls are first come, first served on the day; Canopus and Arius are for elementary kids and up, and the G-force experience is for ages 7+. Check showtimes and age rules first.

If the whole family needs tickets, costs add up fast. On a first visit, start with one 2,000-won program.
Parking and Public Transport

By rental car, search “Jeju Aerospace Museum” or 83 Hanggonguju-ro, Andeok-myeon. Parking is free.
From Jeju Airport, take bus 151 and transfer at Donggwang Transfer Stop to bus 255 or a 771-series bus. From Jeju Bus Terminal, bus 252 and tourist circular buses 820-1 and 820-2 stop nearby.
With transfers and intervals, a rental car is easier for families. Bus riders should check times on Jeju bus information on the day.
Food and Cafes

The third-floor food court runs 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with last orders at 3:30 p.m. The buffet is 13,000 won for middle schoolers and up, 11,000 won for elementary kids and 7,000 won for ages 37 months to 7.
Lunch for two adults and one elementary kid comes to 37,000 won. Check menus and last orders on your visit day.

For a cafe after your visit, the Osulloc Tea Museum in Andeok-myeon is nearby. As of 2026 it also had a new matcha experience space, but it gets crowded in peak season, so decide based on your kids’ energy.
Pros and Cons
The Jeju Aerospace Museum is barely affected by weather and combines aviation, science and space learning with hands-on activities. Free parking and tours add value.
The building is large, and adding several theme halls increases waits and costs. It’s a long drive from east Jeju.
Things to Know
Food, coolers and pets aren’t allowed in exhibit halls. Flash, tripods and commercial filming are restricted without permission.
Check substitute closing days around the third Monday. Theme hall schedules and films change monthly, so check the official page on the day.
