Flying Eastar to Jeju: Our Babymoon Trip Begins

Flying Eastar to Jeju: Our Babymoon Begins

The day had finally come to leave for Jeju. We got up early and headed out. Our Eastar flight was at 10:35.

We quickly checked in on the second floor of Gimpo Airport.

Boarding as an Expecting Mom

When we went to board, maybe because I mentioned I was pregnant, we were let in separately without waiting. We boarded a bit too early and ended up waiting a while. Gimpo Airport was under remodeling and felt chaotic. After only seeing Incheon Airport, Gimpo felt tiny. Still, better than Male Airport in the Maldives.

We waited at Gate 1 for the Eastar flight. Boarding started at 10:13.

Jeju is fast, as always. Our Eastar flight to Jeju took just one hour.

Jeju appeared in the distance. It was a bit cloudy, but the weather was still very good.

We quickly picked up our rental car and hit the road. We stayed in Jeju through Tuesday. The forecast showed no rain, just cloudy skies.

Luckily it rained starting Wednesday, so we felt relieved. And so our full-scale Jeju adventure began.
