Best Western Nagoya: 2 Nights Near Sakae Station

Best Western Nagoya

I found the train to Kanayama Station and boarded. There are express trains by schedule, but I missed one right in front of me, so we took the local. Very, very slowly.

Best Western Nagoya: Train to Kanayama

Watching the Japanese countryside(?) through the window was not bad at all. A slow train has its own charm. When the Kanayama announcement came, I got off and quickly transferred. Heading to Sakae Station. In Nagoya, everything clusters around Sakae Station. It is either Sakae or Yaba-cho, and Sakae Station has more hotels in front of it.

The hotel we booked was the Best Western Nagoya! It had good reviews for the price, and for three people, it was not too cramped. About a 5-8 minute walk from the station. It might feel a bit far. I remember it was Sakae Station exit 13. Sakae Station is quite complicated, so I wandered a lot at first. So many exits! Finally arrived. It is near the Tokyu Hotel, so easy to find. There is a Starbucks below.

It was cozy and nice. The bathroom was clean too. But there was quite a bit of dust inside the room, dust rolling on the floor, which was a flaw. When sunlight came in the morning, you could see dust floating. Other than that, Best Western Nagoya was a satisfying hotel for the price.
