Yufuin Yunotsubo Street
Yufuin Yunotsubo Street! Full of pretty, cute shops and unique stores. Of course, they are tourist goods, but I think this is truly a fairy-tale street for adults.

Yufuin is packed with such cute things.

Honey ice cream in the distance. The honeycomb ice cream that was trendy in Korea for a while. I did not know it started in Japan!

And the dog and cat shops facing each other on both sides. The dog shop sells only dog goods, the cat shop only cat goods.

Going inside, it was cute. But too pricey to buy anything.

Yufuin Yunotsubo has many food shops.

Lots of tourist goods. It seemed like a good place to buy gifts. This is a roll cake shop.

And the award-winning croquette shop with a line. I do not like croquettes much, so I just took a proof photo and kept looking.

Cute Japanese characters. And the most crowded place: Ghibli Studio.

With cute Totoro! In Korea, a Ghibli Studio opened at Yongsan Station. There were so many people that taking photos was hard.

A rickshaw standing on the street. It did not seem to be running, maybe because of the crowds.

Really so many people…

The cute Snoopy restaurant.

Kids would love it.

There was a giant shaved ice too, called rainbow shaved ice. Kids eat it well.

Anpanman vending machine.

Even the rusty decorative car on the street makes a good photo prop.

All the shops are pretty.

This place has owl-related goods. Like a shopping center, with a restaurant and souvenirs.

Yufuin lets you feel it wherever you go. Mom splurged on a hat here. There were many unique shops I wanted to browse one by one, but with the next schedule, I settled for this much and headed to Beppu. Without the Kurukuru bus, I could never have come here alone. Thank you, Kurukuru bus!
