On the second morning, we woke up late and went to Yongi Sikdang in Seogwipo for a late breakfast-slash-lunch. It’s known for duruchigi. We had debated going to Gasi Sikdang but came here because it was closer. I’m curious about Gasi Sikdang’s duruchigi too. Please, let this not be a miss. They say it’s a good restaurant, but only a couple of cars were parked, which made me nervous, but we trusted the reviews. The price was 7,000 won per serving at the time of our visit; you just say how many servings. We ordered two.

First, grill the meat.

The vegetables go in after the meat is cooked.

We grilled diligently, shaking the pan.

Then green onions, radish salad, kimchi, and garlic.

Keep grilling hard. My husband wrapped ssam for me.

My verdict: duruchigi can’t taste bad! If it tastes bad, the cook is truly terrible; any decent duruchigi is delicious. Yongi Sikdang Jeju is above decent! The broth that came with it was tasty, portions were generous, and above all the price was kind. Rice was unlimited. For an affordable Jeju breakfast, Yongi Sikdang Jeju is hard to beat. Thanks to that, breakfast was very filling.
