When we talk about autumn, the season for camping has returned
With no bugs around, seeing the beautiful autumn leaves and colorful trees makes me want to go camping
Especially for families with children, it seems they prefer spending time outdoors while camping
So today, I want to introduce the Good Camping program being held in Geumsan-gun
The Good Camping is conducted by the Geumsan Festival Tourism Foundation (Geumsan-gun) as part of the local tourism industry.
It will be extended from October 7th to November 4th,
so it must be great news for those who love camping.
Especially tomorrow, October 28th, various programs are prepared
so enjoy the remaining two weeks of Geumsan camping.
First, where is the Geumsan Good Camping location?
It is taking place at the Forest Culture Town, San Flower Cherry Blossom Village, Ginseng Valley, and National Leisure.
So there are four places where it is happening.
Last year, it was the 10th round with 4 experiences, and due to high satisfaction, this year it has been expanded to the 12th round with 6 experiences.
Experience Programs
Making nameplates, rattan crafts, making small items, calligraphy, pottery firing, wooden rings, making birdhouses, etc.
To explain each experience:
Making birdhouses is an experience where you literally make a birdhouse.
You can try making and decorating birdhouses in various shapes.
Pottery firing is an experience where you can draw on pre-fired pottery and glaze it, creating your own unique pottery.
Wooden rings are made by carving and shaping wood, and it seems to be popular for couple rings as well.
There’s also an experience for making clear dolls, and the children really love it
Making nameplates involves sanding wooden boards,
painting them and engraving letters to create your own nameplate.
Making items involves using wood to create useful items such as wooden cutting boards, pot holders, and coasters that you can use in real life.
Calligraphy is a way to learn how to write beautifully.
These days, we can do everything with our phones or computers, so we don’t often get to write by hand.
That’s why I’m at the level of bad handwriting haha, so it seems good to learn calligraphy during such an opportunity.
Lastly, rattan crafts allow you to make decorative items such as lampshades, baskets, and plates using rattan.
I also want to learn something that has interested me for a long time.
