Getting Around Paris: Metro and Double-Decker Buses

Having traveled many countries, I found the Paris metro the most comfortable. They said Japan is similar to Korea, but Japan was super complicated too. Of all metros, the Paris metro is the easiest for Koreans to use. Fares aren’t that expensive. Transfers work just like Korea. And they sell tickets in bundles, which is much cheaper. Italy, Germany, Austria, and the US leave it to your conscience, with no turnstiles or even ticket checks. But here, even more thoroughly than Korea, they have automatic turnstiles. So similar to Korea. French people give directions really well when asked. The metro I rode that day was Line 7. Just like Korea, so similar.

French double-decker buses, like British buses. The unique thing about French buses is that all destinations are displayed on the side! So tourists like us who don’t know the way can ride easily. The transportation seems well made for convenience. This bus, like in Korea, has ads on it. That ad is for Paris’s most famous department store, with its own metro station: Galeries Lafayette in Paris. I shopped like crazy there. It was a 50% mega sale period.
