Haengdamdo Rest Stop
A rest stop post, really? But this is the Haengdamdo Rest Stop, my favorite highway rest stop, on the way to Taean. It is huge, with clean facilities.

It is an enormous rest stop.

Many brands have shops here.

There are all kinds of snacks, and the second floor has an outlet, so you can squeeze in some shopping.

There is a spacious area just for buying road trip snacks, which I liked.

The middle lane has fish cake bars, squid, potatoes, chicken skewers, toast, and all the must-eat highway foods.

I stopped at the sausage stand. Sausage eaten on the highway tastes the best.

My companion got the long sausage, and I ordered the sausage-tteok skewers. What a delicacy! Then I went to the food corner and ordered pork cutlet, the old-style king pork cutlet.
The Haengdamdo Rest Stop, after a long time, felt a bit less friendly than my first visit in terms of food court service. When my companion asked for more pickled radish, the staff handed it over with an annoyed look.

The old-style pork cutlet. Honestly, it was not that great. For old-style pork cutlet, the Hwaseong Rest Stop was better.

I would not really recommend the pork cutlet at Haengdamdo Rest Stop. It was greasy with thick batter, and the sauce was on the greasy side too. Still, the large Haengdamdo Rest Stop has plenty to see and eat, making it another fun part of the trip.
