Hanwha Seorak Sorano Resort
I went on a Seoraksan trip with my dad and my sister’s family. This is a long-overdue post about our autumn 2015 trip to Seoraksan. The weather that day was very cloudy, with clouds hanging on the mountains and thick fog, looking like rain could pour any moment.

We arrived at the pre-booked Hanwha Seorak Resort. This is the Seorak Sorano. Since it was newly built by Hanwha Resort, I had high expectations! It was my first visit. It looked somehow Italian, like Italian architecture.

The lobby in the middle reminded me of the Pantheon in Rome.

The lobby looked luxurious.

The Seorak Sorano is not tall compared to other resorts; it is a long 5-story building. It is quite large.

We went inside. With 4 adults and 1 child, we booked a family room. It was on the smaller side among Hanwha resorts I had stayed at. This is the bedroom.

The view outside was of the parking lot. And this is the kitchen. I was surprised the kitchen was a bit small.

This is the ondol room.

After unpacking roughly and coming out, the dark clouds seemed to gradually brighten.

Next, time to head to the Seorak Cinerama! I had been looking forward to the drama set. At night, I went back outside the Sorano.

This is the lobby! And the next day the weather was incredibly clear again. After the rain, there was not a speck of dust, not a single cloud.

The Sorano facilities were really clean. I would love to come back again.
