This trip to Jeju was a very slow and leisurely one, so we didn’t rush from the morning.
Woke up late in the morning
Just had some ramen and rice bread to fill up (maybe?)
And for brunch(?) or lunch
If you come to Jeju, you must try grilled hairtail
And off we go to eat grilled hairtail
There are many Chunshim places
I went to the main branch
The main branch is the best!
If I had to choose the most memorable place I visited in Jeju, I would say here
The taste is great, but the service and friendliness were top-notch!
The back parking lot was spacious
Perhaps since we arrived just after lunchtime, we missed the busy hours.
We could go in without any trouble.
Business hours are until 8 PM and very short
Last orders may close early when ingredients run out.
It’s a famous restaurant, and you can often see break times in Jeju.
Well, the staff should have resting/eating time.
Fortunately, there weren’t many people in the hall, so we could get in without waiting.
Usually, you might have to wait.
Indeed, it’s best to go to Jeju during the off-season for the best experience.
Chunshim’s Place is famous for grilled hairtail and braised hairtail
Both are delicious, but
I personally prefer grilled hairtail more.
The hall is very spacious
It’s not a no-kids zone, so there are high chairs available.
To my surprise, Yans sat down in the high chair without any objection.
Usually, if you make them sit in a high chair, it turns into chaos, so I haven’t been able to go to places like restaurants recently, but what happened!
Food is served quickly once ordered.
Various side dishes are served generously at first.
Such as salad or soft tofu
Fortunately, there are many side dishes here that Yans can eat
The grilled hairtail is not salty and delicious
It is good to take a baby with you.
Now that he is a bit older and doesn’t carry baby food, he seems to eat better.
The braised hairtail is bubbling on one side.
The price range is not cheap.
After all, it’s hairtail since it’s Jeju hairtail.
I understand if it’s a little expensive-
We ordered 3 servings of grilled hairtail and 2 servings of braised hairtail for a total of 5 servings
Due to the side dishes, the portions were very generous.
Even Yans with a good appetite

really friendly
They refill the side dishes right away
And they constantly check to see if there is anything you need, which was really convenient and nice.
And all the staff were friendly, which left a lasting impression.
Even though our Yans was noisy and running around, they played with him and doted on him at his eye level
I think I will go again next time I visit Jeju.
