Kyoto Travel + Kiyomizu-dera + Gyukatsu

It has been exactly a year since I visited Japan around this time, and I am finally organizing it now.

As my memory is a bit hazy, I am currently sorting everything with a bomb of photos and videos.

After rummaging through my memories, I went out to take the Hankyu train in Osaka.

There are many restaurants near the hotel we are staying at that open early in the morning, and especially at low prices, my husband and I ate here every morning.

It was a place with good cost performance and taste.

On the first day, we ate salmon with my husband who has natto every day.

On the second day, we had hay rice and Japanese bibimbap.

I think the combination we had the first day was tastier.

It consists of around 4000 to 4500 won in our country’s money, which is excellent.

To go to Kyoto, you need to go from Dotonbori to Umeda Station.

Finding directions in Japan is as easy as finding them in Seoul, and Google Maps is so well done that you can easily get around if you just have roaming.

Fortunately, there were no people on the train, so we could sit pretty comfortably.

After about an hour, we get off at Kawaramachi Station.

Kyoto definitely felt different from Osaka.

Does it feel like Jeonju Hanok Village in our country?

It is quaint, but the shopping street is quite developed.

Because my husband wasn’t feeling well that day, we couldn’t roam around much.

If it’s Kyoto, the most significant spectacle is definitely the traditional Japanese houses lined up on the streets.

Is that why there are many ladies walking around in kimonos?

Young couples were both walking around in yukatas or kimonos while dating.

It certainly reminds me of Jeonju Hanok Village.

Kyoto was a city filled with sights even if you just moved according to your feet rather than planning where to go.

And the final destination was Kiyomizu-dera.

Kiyomizu-dera, which is called ‘the most popular destination for tourists in Kyoto’ is one of the famous temples and shrines in Higashiyama.

It is a place where I took a video rather than a photo.

Just like a tourist spot, there were many stalls.

While wandering around, I got a little hungry and came down to near the station.

I was curious about how Kyoto’s okonomiyaki would taste, so I bought some okonomiyaki.

Surprisingly, many people buy and eat it.

It was more expensive than the place I ate at in Osaka.

The taste was not as good as I expected.
