Radisson Danang Review: A Great-Value Five-Star Hotel Near My Khe Beach With a Rooftop Pool

Here’s my review of Radisson Danang, where we stayed on our 2024 Da Nang trip. As of 2024 it cost under 100,000 won a night, a great-value five-star city hotel with a great location close to My Khe Beach.

Radisson Danang is ideal for family trips. My Khe Beach is about a five-minute walk away, the city center is close, and the airport is just 15 minutes by taxi, so even after a late arrival we enjoyed two relaxing nights.

It’s also easy to reach popular sights like Hoi An and Han Market, which kept our schedule relaxed. Short travel times made getting around with a child easy.

1. Location and My Khe Beach Views

The location of Radisson Danang is excellent. My Khe Beach, Da Nang’s most famous beach, is right in front, so every morning we woke up to blue ocean views.

In the evening, the sunset turning the sea red looked like a scene from a Southeast Asian resort.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and it’s easy to reach the Pink Cathedral and downtown.

2. Rooms and Amenities

The room was spacious enough for two adults and a child.

We booked a Premium Ocean View double room with an extra bed, and the soft, comfortable bed melted away the day’s fatigue.

The room was spotless and well equipped, with crisp white bedding and fluffy pillows.

The amenities reflect its five-star status, with an iron, slippers, robes, a minibar and quality toiletries.

Tea set

The clean bathroom and ample storage made unpacking easy, and the cups and tea set felt luxurious. I brought a shower filter, and the water was so clean it didn’t change color.

Opening the window of our ocean-view room revealed My Khe Beach and the sea, which was one of the biggest reasons I chose Radisson Danang.

3. Breakfast

Breakfast at Radisson Danang was very satisfying, with a wide variety of dishes.

Local food is a highlight of any Da Nang trip, but sometimes it’s nice to start the day calmly at the hotel.

From Vietnamese classics to Western dishes, with fresh fruit and freshly baked bread, there was something for both kids and adults.

The pho was especially good, a warm, hearty way to start the day.

The breakfast restaurant is spacious, so it never felt crowded, and the morning view of My Khe Beach was a small joy. Lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant are good value too.

4. Rooftop Pool on the 21st Floor

The rooftop pool at Radisson Danang was one of the most impressive features, with sweeping views of the city and My Khe Beach from the 21st floor. Having both the city and the beach is the beauty of this hotel.

The pool is partly shaded, so even in the midday heat we could swim without worrying about the sun, and Yans and my husband loved it.

Swimming while looking out over the open sea was unforgettable.

There’s a bar beside the pool for snacks and drinks, and an evening drink at the rooftop bar was the perfect end to the day. Try the coconut coffee from the pool bar.

The hotel also has a gym and a spa for working out or unwinding.

Thanks to its location, the Pink Cathedral and other sights are easy to reach. During our three days at Radisson Danang, we explored the city and came back to relax, and the value was outstanding.

Overall, Radisson Danang is a great-value five-star hotel for enjoying My Khe Beach and the city, with comfortable rooms and quality service.
