A Famous Abalone Restaurant and Iho Tewoo Beach on Our Jeju Babymoon
On day two of our May 2017 Jeju babymoon, we stopped for lunch at Sunok Myeongga to try their abalone ttukbaegi. The restaurant sits about ten minutes from the airport.

It was so popular that people were lining up outside.

We took a waiting number and finally got inside.

With excitement, we ordered the abalone ttukbaegi and the Sunok mulhoe. My husband wanted the cuttlefish mulhoe, but they said they did not serve it.

Side dishes came out.

The side dishes were tasty, which raised our expectations.

The hall was bigger than expected with fast table turnover. Then the mulhoe and abalone ttukbaegi arrived. The presentation looked great.

We took photos before eating.

Iho Tewoo Beach Right Nearby
After lunch we headed to Iho Tewoo Beach, a beach with quite a reputation, and we had high hopes for Iho Tewoo Beach. It was very close. But the moment we got out of the car: huh?

It felt poorly maintained. Where was the stunning view we had seen in photos?

This was what it actually looked like to my own eyes.

Desolate. Even with a filter, it still looked like this.

This was the real thing, no filter magic.

Disappointed, we turned around almost as soon as we arrived.
