Sunshine Sakae Ferris Wheel
Off to ride the Ferris wheel. It was drizzling. Every time I come to Japan, it rains.

Near Sakae Station, there is a big Ferris wheel. Right in front of it is Don Quijote. That penguin you see is Don Quijote. It is quite big, but had fewer goods than expected, which was a shame. My nephew had wanted to buy train and car toys at Don Quijote, but the selection was not great, so he was quite bummed.

Sunshine Sakae. This is where you ride the Ferris wheel. Take the escalator up at Sunshine Sakae.

The boarding area appears. The Sunshine Sakae Ferris wheel costs the same for kids and adults: 500 yen. Pricey!

This is the Ferris wheel ticket. Must be a Japanese idol. We sat down. It was my first time on a Ferris wheel. I had never ridden one even at Korean amusement parks.

Worth riding if you want the full view of Sakae Station. The TV Tower and Oasis 21 were visible in the distance. The day’s schedule had been packed, so I wrapped up with the Sunshine Sakae Ferris wheel and went back to the hotel. My little nephew kept up with a schedule even adults found tiring. You are truly a born traveler.
