One reason I love traveling in Vietnam is the great value of massages, so on a Nha Trang trip a massage a day is a must. On our 2024 trip, we visited Himalaya Luxury Spa near Cam Ranh Airport. We landed on a red-eye flight and were tired from the start, but Himalaya Spa helped us begin the trip relaxed.

Here’s my guide to Himalaya Spa: location, atmosphere, booking, treatments and prices, plus my honest massage review.
1. A Massage Near Nha Trang Airport

The more you travel, the more you appreciate a convenient massage near the airport.

Arriving at Cam Ranh Airport on an early-morning flight can wear you out, so I chose Himalaya Spa to recover nearby. It’s about 10 minutes from the airport by Grab, which makes it very convenient, and starting with a massage made the whole trip feel lighter.
Himalaya Spa is also close to many resorts and hotels. You can drop by after relaxing at your resort, or stop in on the way back to the airport after exploring Nha Trang city on checkout day. There are plenty of local Vietnamese restaurants nearby, too.
2. Free Pickup at Himalaya Spa

Another reason I booked Himalaya Spa was the convenient pickup. As of 2024, booking for two included free one-way transport, and booking for four included free round-trip transport.

For two people, a Grab from Cam Ranh Airport takes only about 10 minutes, so a taxi isn’t a burden either. Thanks to this thoughtful service, we shook off our travel fatigue on day one.
3. How to Book
Booking Himalaya Spa is easy via KakaoTalk, and the process was quick and simple. Book ahead to fit your arrival day or your schedule before your flight home.

Booking during discount hours makes it even better value.

4. The Atmosphere at Himalaya Spa
The staff greeted us warmly, and I liked that the spa is in a standalone building.
- Hours: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The white interior is clean and stylish, with a relaxed cafe-like feel.

At the entrance, tables and sofas let you relax while you wait. Besides massages, they also offer manicures and pedicures.

Luggage storage is available, so you can visit on arrival day or before heading to the airport. Being near Cam Ranh Airport, it’s perfect before or after hotel check-in.

Before the massage, we were served welcome fruit and drinks. Sweet tropical fruit while waiting made me look forward to the treatment even more.
5. Treatments and Prices
Massages in Nha Trang are already good value, but every traveler wants a quality facility at a fair price. Price was one of the reasons I liked Himalaya Spa.

There are many massage options; I chose the signature Himalaya massage. As of 2024, 90 minutes cost 670,000 VND and 120 minutes cost 870,000 VND, roughly 30,000 to 40,000 won for a premium massage. There’s also a 60-minute option if you prefer something shorter.

There are also happy-hour discounts. As of 2024, you got 20% off from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 10% off after 4 p.m.
6. My Himalaya Spa Massage Review
Before the massage, you fill out a form noting your condition, preferred pressure and any areas to focus on. Staff then led us to the treatment room, where we changed into gowns.

The treatment rooms were very clean and hygienic, which is exactly what you want when getting a massage in Nha Trang.

There are couple rooms with two beds, plus family rooms for three, four or five people. Kids’ massages are available too, so Yans joined us.

The 90-minute Himalaya massage was clearly different from aroma massages I’d had before. Skilled, warm hands and essential oils melted away tension from scalp to toe, and all my fatigue disappeared. There’s no tipping culture in Vietnam, so a tip isn’t required, but about 1 dollar per hour is a nice gesture.

After the treatment, you get a glass of tropical juice and crispy salted mango. They also take an instant photo, a lovely keepsake of time with family. If you want something different from aroma or hot-stone massages, I recommend Himalaya Spa. Make it your first stop in Nha Trang for a relaxing start; I’ll definitely be back to Himalaya Spa on my next visit.
