The third day of our Jeju trip was Kensington day. Among Jeju hotels, I think the Kensington Hotel Jeju offers the best value for the price, and the facilities are spotless. We came straight from Osulloc, and a luxury hotel like this is best enjoyed by arriving early.

Kensington is in the Jungmun complex. When we went to check in, we had to wait because we arrived with a group and had to go downstairs.

We went down to B2 with my husband, checked in there, and got a welcome drink. The service was amazing.

B2 is where we kept coming back: the pool is right there, and the sauna provides gowns, towels, and slippers. We decided to try the pool later and went to our room first. Our luggage had already arrived before us. My husband looked at the room and said it was even better than Paujein Jeju, which we had liked.

The bathroom was spotless.

The amenities smelled wonderful. The Kensington in Saipan uses L’Occitane, which this one doesn’t, but unlike other hotels, the minibar at the Kensington Hotel Jeju is completely free.

Beer, drinks, snacks, chocolate, all free. We were getting dizzy with excitement and had to go swimming soon.

This is the floor guide. The R floor has the Skyfinity I wanted to visit, an adults-only rooftop pool. Spoiler: it was amazing, the absolute best. I’ll cover Skyfinity in the next post.

Prices, hours and details in this post are from our visit in May 2017 and may have changed, so check the latest information before you go.
