In October 2024, we visited Moon Art Ground, a huge gallery cafe in Cheoin-gu, Yongin. If you’re looking for a spacious place to unwind surrounded by nature, this is it.

Spread over about 3,300 square meters, Moon Art Ground is more than a cafe. It’s a place to enjoy art and rest together.

A Gallery Cafe Where Nature Meets Art
Moon Art Ground isn’t just for coffee. It has a large gallery where you can enjoy artworks.

The space is divided into three themes, Moon Gallery, Silver Screen and Archive, each with its own atmosphere. Thanks to its quiet countryside setting in Cheoin-gu, it’s a great place to relax in nature.
Cozy Interior and a Large Garden
The interior feels modern yet warm, and big windows fill it with natural light, so it’s bright and comfortable.

Outside, a large, well-kept garden is perfect for coffee in the fresh air. On a nice day, the outdoor tables offer a peaceful view.

The scenery blending with the surrounding nature was truly relaxing.
Entry With a Welcome Set
As of 2024, entry was 12,000 won and included a welcome set, an affordable way to spend time with art.

The welcome set comes with a dessert made in collaboration with Ari Kitchen, and it was delicious.

The signature dessert paired perfectly with the smooth coffee. There’s a wide range of drinks and desserts, so I’d like to try something different next time.
Highlights of Each Space

- Moon Gallery: an exhibition space with contemporary art and sculpture, full of creative inspiration.

- Silver Screen: a cinema with comfortable seats for watching art films at a relaxed pace.

- Archive: a quiet, cozy space with art materials, great for reading or exploring art.

- Garden: enjoy coffee in a garden where nature and art meet, perfect for photos on a sunny day.
