Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers Review: Harbor-View Suite, Breakfast and Dinner Buffet

In June 2025, I took a family trip to Hong Kong to celebrate my birthday.

Choosing where to stay was the biggest decision. I wanted a place that would make a short trip unforgettable and let the whole family rest comfortably.

On a family trip with kids, location, views, bed setup, dining and facilities all need to work together.

Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers

The hotel I chose was Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers, and it turned out to be the best decision of the trip.

Why Sheraton Hong Kong?

Located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, this hotel was much more than a place to sleep: Victoria Harbour views through the window, premium dining in the hotel and perfect access to all of Hong Kong’s key sights.

It all came together in one place.

With over 50 years of history, Sheraton Hong Kong is so clean and stylish that you’d never guess its age.

The Power of Location in Tsim Sha Tsui

When you have lots of luggage and a child in tow, hotel location isn’t a choice; it’s survival.

Tsim Sha Tsui location

Being a five-minute walk from exits E and N5 of Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station meant much more than convenience.

Step outside and the Avenue of Stars is right there, Harbour City mall is a three-minute walk and K11 Musea is close by. Every Hong Kong route is connected on foot.

Avenue of Stars

This kind of access is precious on a family trip. When your child gets tired, you can pop back to the hotel to rest, and you never have to carry heavy shopping bags far.

The continuous pedestrian walkways made getting around easy.

As a parent, it was a stroke of genius.

Our Large Suite at Sheraton Hong Kong

Our Large Suite was the perfect base camp for exploring Hong Kong.

It had a spacious bedroom with two double beds, a living room with a sofa and table, a dressing room and a bathroom, and above all a harbor view through floor-to-ceiling windows. There was plenty of room for a family of three.

My child is still small, but three people in one bed is uncomfortable.

This layout was perfect for a family of three.

When I opened the curtains for the first time after check-in, I couldn’t help saying “wow.” Seeing the harbor finally made it feel real that we were in Hong Kong, and it’s far more stunning in person than in photos.

The room’s real charm shows at night. Whether lying in bed or sitting on the sofa, the Victoria Harbour night view was breathtaking.

When I mentioned it was my birthday, the staff wished me a happy birthday and soon sent up cake and fruit.

A birthday card arrived along with the cake and desserts.

It’s a great Tsim Sha Tsui hotel for celebrating special occasions.

The cake was delicious and the card was touching.

A Special Show From Your Room Every Night at 8

Watching the Symphony of Lights laser show at 8 p.m. every night from the room is something special. You can enjoy Hong Kong’s signature night show with a cup of tea without leaving your room.

We wanted to see it up close, so we went down to the Avenue of Stars right in front of the hotel, but the view from the room was fantastic too.

Above all, the staff were so warm and attentive to my child that mealtimes were relaxed and fun.

The Outstanding Dinner Buffet

The dinner buffet in the same restaurant is a completely different world.

Its premium seafood-focused spread was one of the finest dining experiences of our Hong Kong trip.

Lobster and French oysters take center stage, along with sushi, sashimi, grilled seafood and pasta. Every dish showed so much care that you forget it’s a hotel buffet.

The Sheraton Hong Kong dinner buffet is a must on any itinerary.

It’s popular with locals too, so book ahead on weekends.

Family dinner

My child loved the food and ate very well.

A wonderful meal made our special occasion even more memorable.

Sky Lounge Bar: The Peak of Harbor Views

The sky lounge bar on the top floor of the tower was one of the most memorable spots of the trip.

Sitting by the window with a drink and Victoria Harbour below was pure relaxation.

It’s great for lunch or dinner.

Hong Kong’s harbor is stunning both by day and by night, and I heard it’s a must-visit for young travelers.

Harbor by day

Even with a child, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the whole family could take in the city.

Lobby Staircase: An Unexpected Photo Spot

The arched staircase in the lobby was an unexpected bonus.

Lots of people take photos here.

The classic staircase creates a setting that feels like a wedding shoot.

It’s actually known as a popular wedding photo spot. Our photos came out elegant and polished too.

A City Escape: Pool and Facilities

The rooftop outdoor pool was the perfect place for a break during our Hong Kong trip.

It was great for a light swim with my child. Hong Kong is hotter than Korea, so I looked for a hotel with a pool, and this one had both the location and the pool.

Swimming with a city view was a special experience.

Lockers and towels were provided, and with a fitness center and sauna, even a day spent entirely at the hotel was satisfying.

The Perfect Family Hotel

For our family of three, Sheraton Hong Kong was the perfect choice.

The spacious suite with two double beds let everyone rest comfortably, and the walkable sightseeing and shopping routes were a huge plus with a child.

Sheraton Hong Kong family stay

Excellent breakfast and dinner buffets, fantastic night views from the room and bar, and above all friendly, attentive service made it a winner on every front.
