Hakata Green Hotel
I went to Green Hotel No. 1 from the Chikushi side. First, to drop off my luggage at the hotel. I booked through Hotels.com. I searched for a hotel near Hakata Station with recent facilities, and the most satisfying one was this Hakata Green Hotel. Cheap for the price, close and easy to find, and clean facilities from a recent remodel. From the Lawson where the Kurukuru bus drops you, look right: you will see Starbucks and Mos Burger. Enter the alley between them, and there is Green Hotel Annex, Green Hotel No. 2. Go further in, and Green Hotel No. 1 is at the very front. If you see Hotel 2 and the Annex, you have almost found it.

The hotel interior is clean. Probably because of the recent remodel.

We got room 505. A non-smoking twin room.

The interior is not that big, but really clean.

And the bath. Cute in a Japanese way and super clean. The bath amenities are even Shiseido.

And WiFi works inside the hotel. Turn on the TV, click the WiFi menu, and the password appears.

Next morning’s breakfast. Since I had applied for breakfast, I went to the first-floor restaurant. The first-floor restaurant serves breakfast in the morning, a coffee shop at lunch, and light drinks in the evening.

Breakfast is about 7,500 won (Korean), but it comes out better than expected.
Fukuoka’s famous mentaiko is served. Really delicious.

The Hakata Green Hotel breakfast is really good for the price, so if you are not eating elsewhere in the morning, I recommend applying for it. During my stay here, the location was close, facilities clean, and staff kind. Really great.
