Komeda Coffee Nagoya
One of the must-try things in Nagoya: Komeda Coffee! A coffee brand only in Nagoya? Komeda or Gomeda? They say people in Nagoya absolutely love Komeda Coffee! I left the hotel in the morning and walked to a Komeda Coffee near the hotel.

It was rush hour, with busy people on the streets. Many people in Japan wear masks, to avoid bothering others. Quite a cultural difference. Korea seems to be changing that way too these days.

In front of Komeda Coffee. Dun dun… Of all days, the Komeda near the hotel was under renovation! So I quickly searched for another Komeda Coffee. There was one near Oasis and the TV Tower, so I headed there. Oasis 21 and the TV Tower were easy to find.

This is Oasis. They say it is prettier in the evening, so I decided to come back in the evening.

This is the TV Tower. In front of the TV Tower is Central Park. Nice for a stroll.

Cross the crosswalk in front of the TV Tower and you will find Nagoya’s famous Harbs cake. This is the flagship! I decided to stop by in the afternoon, and went to find my destination, Komeda Coffee. Enter the underground shopping area right in front of Harbs.

And here is Komeda Coffee Nagoya! Finally found it.

The menu sign of Komeda Coffee.

Komeda Coffee is all about this! The morning set is famous. Cheap and filling, this brunch is incredibly popular.

We decided to order the morning set. Same bread with scrambled egg or red bean: you choose. We went with egg and red bean. Most people eat the red bean, they say.

And with the morning set, you can choose your coffee.

Snapping a photo here too.

Sandwiches like these look tasty too. Komeda is incredibly cheap for Japan.

Finally it arrived. I ordered non-sugar, non-cream, and my sister ordered a latte.

Syrup and cream come separately; mix to your taste.

Egg and red bean. The bread is not too sweet.

Really delicious.
I ordered this too. I thought the topping was fresh cream, but it turned out to be soft-serve ice cream. My nephew ate it so well, saying it was delicious. The bread was soft with a strong buttery flavor, like a butter roll.

My nephew said the ice cream was delicious and wanted more, so I ordered just the ice cream separately. The portion was huge.

It felt like a full brunch. The coffee was smooth and tasty. That explained why everyone raves about Komeda Coffee Nagoya.
