If you’re looking for something special on your Guam itinerary, I highly recommend the Tao Tao Tasi dinner show. It pairs a spectacular performance of traditional Chamorro culture and fire dancing with a dinner buffet, and you can take photos with the performers afterward. Here’s why it’s worth seeing and how to book, based on our visit in 2024.
What Is Tao Tao Tasi?
Tao Tao Tasi is one of Guam’s most popular dinner shows, featuring performances rooted in traditional Chamorro culture. Set against the sunset on Gun Beach, it’s a show many travelers say you should experience at least once.

Traditional performances, songs, a fire show and dance numbers come together for a visually stunning evening.

The highlight is the fire show, with performers handling fire with incredible skill. The traditional dances and songs give you a real feel for Guam’s culture, and the dancers’ talent, colorful costumes and energy are moving.
Seats and Prices

Tao Tao Tasi is an outdoor show with Regular and VIP seating at different prices. As of 2024, Regular seats were about 120 dollars and VIP seats about 160 dollars, and VIP seats are closer to the stage for a more vivid view.

You can interact with the performers more closely, so VIP is worth it for a special experience. We sat in VIP, and if you want to see up close and join in, VIP is the way to go.
Dinner Buffet and Menu

The show includes a dinner buffet, with about 40 minutes to eat before the performance begins.

There’s steak, seafood, salads and desserts. The meat is popular and runs out quickly, so grab it as soon as you enter.

The seafood is excellent too, and there’s something for every age, so the whole family will be happy. Note that drinks are not free; cocktails and beverages are paid separately, and cards are accepted.
Show Time and Program
The show runs about an hour, opening with traditional dances and songs and building to the fire show in the middle.

There are moments for audience participation, so the energy keeps rising. After the show, you can take photos with the performers, so don’t miss the chance.
Booking Tips and Notes

Tao Tao Tasi is very popular, so booking ahead is essential. VIP seats sell out fast in peak season, so reserve early.

As of 2024, the show ran five nights a week and was closed on Wednesdays and Sundays, so plan accordingly.

The show starts at 7 p.m. with entry from 6 p.m. Arrive early to enjoy dinner at a relaxed pace. Most hotels have shuttle buses, so check shuttle availability when you book.
Shuttle Bus and Location

The venue is on Gun Beach, easy to reach from major hotels. Shuttles must be booked in advance and pick you up in front of your hotel.

We stayed at the Rihga Royal Laguna, the last stop on the route, so the ride took a while. From the Hotel Nikko or The Tsubaki Tower, it’s quicker to walk.

Check shuttle times in advance so you arrive with plenty of time for dinner. If you’re driving a rental car, the parking lot is spacious.

Tao Tao Tasi is a must on any Guam trip, with a dazzling show blending tradition and modern performance plus a delicious buffet for an unforgettable night.

It’s a meaningful evening with family, friends or a partner, and the performers’ passion makes a lasting impression. If you want a special night in Guam, don’t miss Tao Tao Tasi.
